Hi, I’m Michelle — and Silkberry is my one-woman show. I started this brand because I believe silk shouldn’t just be reserved for special occasions or hidden behind luxury price tags. To me, silk is everyday beauty: something that should feel effortless, versatile, and lasting.
Silkberry was born from that belief — to create silkwear that feels beautiful to wear, made with care, and accessible without compromising on quality.
The idea came to me while travelling across Europe and Asia, where silk isn’t treated as untouchable, but woven naturally into daily life. I fell in love with how a single silk scarf could transform an outfit and become a keepsake for years.
When I came back to Sydney, I searched for something similar - but found only overpriced labels or synthetic imitations. That gap is what inspired me to create Silkberry: a home for timeless, pure silk essentials designed to be worn and lived in, not just admired from afar.

Silkberry really is just me. From sourcing fabrics, answering your messages, and wrapping your orders to dreaming up what comes next. Every package you receive has literally passed through my hands.
