Hi! I'm Michelle
I’m the founder, logistics coordinator, procurement lead, social media manager, packer, customer service rep — and yes, the entire Silkberry team. When you message us, you’re messaging me. When your package arrives, it was lovingly packaged by my own two hands.
By day, I work a 9-to-5 — but outside of that, my brain is 50% Silkberry, 50% the love of my life (pictured).
ABOUT THE IDEA
How Silkberry was born
The idea for Silkberry came to me on a trip across Asia, Europe, and Africa — places where silk isn’t just a luxury, but a part of everyday elegance. I fell in love with the way a single scarf could elevate a look, tell a story, or last a lifetime.
But when I came back to Australia, I couldn’t find anything like it — only overpriced luxury labels or cheap, synthetic blends. So I decided to create something different: timeless silkwear made with care, and made to be worn — not just admired from a box.

At Silkberry, we make everyday luxury easy. Our pieces are crafted from 100% mulberry silk — soft, strong, and thoughtfully designed to be part of your real life, not just your “special occasion” wardrobe.
We’re starting with the essentials: silk scarves, skirts, and scrunchies — all in timeless silhouettes and dreamy colors. Everything is made in small batches, with quality at the core. Because beautiful things should be built to last (and not cost half your rent).
