Like all great ideas, Silkberry was formed after a trip. 

Our founder, Michelle, hailed from the vibrant yet laid-back city of Sydney to momentarily get away from the corporate routine. During her travels through Asia, Europe, and Africa, she discovered the exquisite craftsmanship and unparalleled quality of traditional silk scarves. This experience ignited a desire to bring these versatile accessories into her everyday wardrobe, and thus, a love for silk scarves was born.

Upon returning to Australia, Michelle noticed a gap in the market. The options available were either exorbitantly priced luxury brands or low-quality fast fashion. Determined to bridge this gap, Silkberry was founded with a commitment to combining luxury with everyday wearability.
